The COR® certification is a national accreditation that verifies the full implementation of an employer’s Occupational Health and Safety Management System. It is often required by both public and private sectors across Canada. Recently, COR® was updated to COR® 2020, streamlining the auditing process and allowing organizations the flexibility to tailor their programs while still meeting COR® requirements. This enhancement also enables workplaces to qualify for recognition from the Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development (MLITSD) and the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) under two provincial programs:
